All was magnificent; the textures, life and the colors. The massive trees and their canopies and crowns and all the wonderful foliage and the occasional flower.
All they were and wanted to be, lost out, to you.
You were the brightest display of life in the forest, beginning, grabbing every ray of sunlight - those around you jealous, while also learning from you, how to grow and show off themselves.
Enjoying, being near you.
The understory of the forest bloomed as you blossomed and every trunk, shoot and branch reached out and upward, as you were simply being you.
They thought they were competing with you for nature's real estate, all the while, you promoted their stake in the forest.
You gave everything, all they needed to flourish. They learned and grew beside one another - you selflessly obliged.
And, even when you were exhausted and thought no one was listening, they often said,
We enjoy being near you.
