Snake Home Invasion

This truly was a snake home invasion - I invaded its home. Other than the snake being displaced, it all worked out for the best.

He or she made herself known while I was working on removing several yucca plants and doing my best to damage the root system - probably not so thrilled with the intrusion.

We spent some time together, mostly at his or her expense and we both went our own ways.

I imagine things could have gone differently with a more ornery or venomous type. But hey, there is no since in sweating the little stuff. The property probably has less rodents running around - no moles or voles in this back yard.
